From what I can tell, my people and Auntie Cathy and Uncle Todd spent most of their time at restaurants. Like East Side Marios...

... And Feleena's (best Mexican food in Ottawa!)...

They also did some sightseeing, like the Rideau Canal...

... And the ByWard Market...
...And the changing of the guard at the War Memorial...

(No photos of Casino du Lac Leamy or IKEA.)
For the most part, Patty and I got along OK. I barked and snarled at her sometimes, and we weren't allowed to be loose together, but we were mostly civil. If she was loose in the house, I had to be sequestered in my people's room. If I was loose, she was either outside or in her kennel. Occasionally we were in the same room at the same time but on our leashes. I had a bit of a tough time accepting that.
Did I feel guilty about her having to be in her kennel? Not really... I've done my time. I've paid my debt to dog society. Patty and I agreed that we would both behave very well on walks. We were able to co-exist quite nicely when out for strolls together. We also agreed that we would both like to eat Murphy through the fence. I didn't always show it, but I very much liked having Patty around for a few days.
If there was one drawback, it was that Patty made me feel a bit like Goldilocks. Well, actually, more like the Baby Bear, but you get the idea. Look who's sleeping on my bed!!
Patty, that bed is way too small for you. And you didn't see me going and lying on your bed did you? (You didn't see me right?)
Anyway, thanks for a fun week everyone.
