My Reply to Mr. Charles Greene

Dear Mr. Greene:

Thank you so much for thinking of me and trusting enough in me to make this one-of-a-kind offer. I am truly honored that you think so highly of me.

First, I have to say that I was sceptical at first, but I did check out the story on CNN and everything seems to be legitimate. Thanks for providing that link, clearly proving you are a serious businessperson.

Second, I sympathize with your situation. It seems a shame to gain from someone else's tragedy, but it seems worse that the money would otherwise go back into the national treasury, especially after all the hard work you have put in on this case.

Third, I have spent many hours seeking opportunities to gain wealth in a short time frame. I have seen many proposals that do not appeal to me, but yours seems -- as you say -- to be risk free, which is very attractive.

So, I am prepared to enter into negotiations with you under certain conditions. These conditions are as follows:
(a) I will accept your offer of 35%, but I would like 10% of the funds donated to charity. I suggest a charity close to your home, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (
http://www.rspca.org.uk/). This charity is very important to me and my friends.
(b) When you do visit my country, I recommend that we meet in a neutral city, not my home city. The reason is that many people here know me and I do not want to raise suspicion. Notwithstanding this recommendation to meet in a neutral city in my country, I am incapable of travelling on my own. Therefore, I will need you to arrange my transportation for me at the appropriate time.

In the interests of trust and full disclosure, once we enter into negotiations, I will provide more personal details about myself.
Thank you again for thinking of me, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon with further instructions.
